The Hope for the Journey Conference, hosted by Steven Curtis Chapman in partnership with the Karyn Purvis Institute, seeks to provide training and encouragement to foster and adoptive parents by providing practical tips for parenting children from hard places along with biblical encouragement. If you are already working with children from traumatic backgrouds, or if you are interested in serving these children in the future, this is a wonderful opportunity to grow in both your parenting and faith journey!

First Baptist Church will be hosting this year's conference virtually, showing one 90 minute conference session each Saturday morning from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM from April 6-May 4*. Doughnuts/snacks and childcare will be available during sessions. Participants will recieve a certificate  of completion which will count towards DCFS training hours upon completion of the conference. Registration is free, but spots are limited! 

*If you cannot make it to every session, make-up sessions can be accessed from home, but we ask that you plan to attend most sessions due to limited seats. Thank you!
